LIFT for Learning (LIFT) is a not-for-profit organisation and company limited by guarantee with charitable objects, registered in England and Wales no. 05544951. Since 2005 LIFT has been responsible for the further trialling and extension of the DigiSmart educational initiative, maximising project reach and greatly increasing the number of children able to benefit from literacy and learning support. This initiative has now ended. In accordance with (i) the charitable objects of promoting and advancing education; (ii) and following the end of the organisation’s role with DigiSmart; and (iii) with the stated purpose of contributing to a commons of creative, cultural and educational works for the public benefit, LIFT has decided to dedicate all its work with DigiSmart published and disseminated by whatever means to the public domain using the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication.
